For those looking for fresh, new content to read in Japanese, I have just the app recommendation for you. It’s called Tangorin and it will make things oh so much easier for those wanting to improve their reading and expand their vocabulary. I’m a bit late in discovering this, but I wanted to share it in case there were people that didn’t know about this incredibly useful app.
I’ve reviewed several books for tackling the JLPT, but you can never have enough books to help you with grammar. That’s why I want to talk about the “Try Japanese Language Proficiency Test” or Try! 日本語能力試験 series. If you’re wanting a good book to help you with grammar that will do a good job, look no further!
Let’s talk about the Kanzen Master series. It’s well known for getting you ready for the JLPT, but is it really worth the hype? Let’s find out.
The results for the JLPT July 2015 have been announced online. I took the N1 in December 2014 and July 2015. Long story short, I didn’t pass. Here’s my Shin Nihongo 500 Mon series review. Another helpful series for increasing your Japanese knowledge! These books are perfect for someone aiming for the JLPT and need something small to carry around. The books are designed so that you only have to work a few pages each day, which is perfect for those that are at work or somewhere with not a lot of free time.
I’ve written a review of the Nihongo Sou Matome series of books for the JLPT. This series promises to help you become better prepared for the JLPT. Does it? I’ve been through many of the books for different levels and I can tell you which ones are worth your time.
The first 2015 JLPT. Hmm… It’s happening on July 5th, which is coming up very soon (I need more time!). I’ve been struggling with sinusitis and a cold while trying to work and study at the same time. It hasn’t been so easy. However, I wanted to share my thoughts and study tips for those that are interested in the process.
